Keurig Dr Pepper Maintenance Technician in Essex Junction, Vermont

Job Overview:

The Maintenance Technician I is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of mechanical and electrical manufacturing equipment, while meeting productivity requirements and maintaining KDP’s high standards in safety and quality.

Shift & Schedule: N1: Mon, Tues, Wed ; Alternating Thur. 6:00PM-6:15AM

What you will do:

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems on K cup manufacturing equipment.

  • Demonstrate troubleshooting capabilities on control systems, servo drives, motors,

  • Perform various equipment preventive maintenance tasks as necessary, but routinely in cases requiring technical expertise

  • Review documentation for maintenance activity using the maintenance database, and properly utilize the maintenance inventory system.

  • Repair and maintain items necessary to maintain equipment in optimum operating condition

  • Assist in day-to-day support of operators for adjustments, setups, and change overs

  • Assist other maintenance technicians as required

  • Will assist in the training and coaching others on best practices.

  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Follow all Keurig Dr Pepper policies and procedures

  • Maintain safe, clean, & well-organized work areas

  • Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills

Total Rewards:

  • Pay starting at $33.99 per hour. The employee will move to a higher rate of $35.69 per hour in the quarter after their 6-month anniversary.

  • Average Shift Premium for N1: $1.05/hr

Requirements:

  • Manufacturing maintenance experience, or equivalent technical experience

  • Ability to read and understand repair instructions, prints, flowchart, and schematics

  • Experience using e-mail, component maintenance manuals, and illustrated parts lists

  • Packaging experience is preferred

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:

  • Ability to lift, push, pull, up to 50 pounds on a regular basis

  • Ability to frequently kneel, squat, bend, & stoop

  • Ability to repetitively lift, twist, stretch, & reach overhead

  • Ability to stand during entire shift minimum of 12 hours

  • Work in compliance with OSHA regulations
