Nestle Business Analyst Transportation in Esplugues Llobregat, Spain

To complete our IT Supply Chain & Procurement – Global Logistics Transportation team, we are currently looking for an IT Business Analyst.

The role

In this position, you will be part of the Supply Chain & Procurement IT team that delivers solutions for the Nestlé business worldwide.

As a Business Analyst in the Transportation product team, you will be participating in projects and product related activities for one of the largest and most complex Transportation Management implementations in the world.

You will be part of a global team with people distributed in different locations worldwide, working closely with our managed service providers, different teams in the Nestlé IT organization and stakeholders from business.

What you’ll do

• Understand and analyze requirements/problems/gaps around use of Transportation solution with the objective to define/design the solution to be implemented.

• Manage the different phases in the lifecycle of assigned product backlog items until successful delivery

• Interact and collaborate with IT vendors and different stakeholders, from IT and from the business.

• Create different types of documentation and deliverables for the product: specifications, test scripts, training materials, implementation guides, etc.

• Collaborate in product governance and compliance related activities.

• Contribute to the product continuous improvement with ideas/recommendations on how to improve existing solutions or processes within the product.

Minimum qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a business analyst in IT areas related to Supply Chain, Physical Logistics, and/or Distribution.

• Strong knowledge and experience with SAP Transportation Management and/or Logistics modules, including technical skills in SAP solutions.

• Experience working with complex IT landscapes connected/integrated to external and cloud solutions.

• Proficiency in data analytics platforms and tools such as SAP BW, Snowflake, or PowerBI.

• Familiarity with IS/IT security and compliance processes.
