Kuehne+Nagel Shift leader (Area Manager) in Eskilstuna, Sweden
We are looking for a motivated Shift Leader in Eskilstuna to supervise our teams in the warehouse.

Your Responsibilities
Review the work forecasts and determine your productivity requirements to produce during the day to meet the overall building objectives.
Partner with other Area Managers to balance labor ensuring that you are operating a balanced and efficient shift while meeting all of your goals.
Support all safety programs and QSHE compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all associates
Work towards achievement of contractual KPI's
Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and Lean tools.
Ensure that you have properly trained people, and that their needs are addressed so they can focus on their jobs.
Take the role as daily supervision of the day's work. The Area Manager shall organize, coordinate and make sure the team handle its assignment with the optimal usage of resources.
In cooperation with Site Manager settle the shift with appropriate level of resources, qualifications, structure and certifications for the organization to solve existing and future client needs.
Compliance, financial, operational and HR reporting in accordance with KN guidelines and those set by KN's local, regional and global management.
Your Skills and Experiences
Preferred knowledge related to logistics or business administration.
Demonstrated experience of at least 2 years in warehouse logistics management.
Experience in managing a large group of workers as well as understanding the administrative processes within a complex warehouse is a must.
Proficiency in creating reports in Excel, handling a warehouse management system, and working with MS Office applications.
Languages: Fluent Swedish and Advanced English level.
