Actalent Quality Engineering Technician in Escondido, California
Description:
•Quality and In-process Inspection
•Calibrate high use gages such as pin/plug, go/no-go thread ring, and pressure gages etc.
•Perform specialized inspections such as first article inspections (FAI)
•Assist with the review of Change Orders (Drawings and documents relating to Quality Control), as required.
•Research current trends and updates in Quality Control methods and request purchase of new equipment, as necessary.
Skills:
Mechanical, Microsoft Excel, Medical Device
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
•Experienced with various types of measuring equipment (i.e. micrometer, optical comparator, vision system and CMM etc.).
•Previous experience in the calibration of common machine shop gages
•Previous cGMP/ISO experience required, preferably in a medical device or similar industry
•Excellent ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
•GD&T (ASME Y14.5-2009) knowledge is highly desired.
•Minimum 3-5 years of experience
•Engineering experience preferred
