Job Description
We are seeking former Military Personnel who have a signed 8610-2 application from a FSDO to join our team as Aircraft Mechanics. This is a direct hire opportunity where candidates will undergo a comprehensive onboarding process, including a 10-day A&P training course, culminating in testing for their A&P license. Successful candidates will receive competitive compensation and the chance to work with a leading MRO company.
Responsibilities
Perform part-time line maintenance (on-call and scheduled) on various passenger aircraft.
Conduct routine maintenance and airworthiness releases, ensuring aircraft are safe and properly documented.
Service, inspect, and maintain aircraft, engines, and associated components to meet deadlines and performance goals.
Troubleshoot systems, disassemble, repair, and reassemble sections and components according to approved technical data.
Ensure all departing aircraft comply with FARs and manufacturer manuals.
Communicate and collaborate with the air carrier's maintenance control center as required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Approved 8610-2 application signed by FSDO.
Combined 30 months of experience across Airframe & Powerplants during military service.
Experience as Fixed Wing, Crew Chief, or Leadership roles in the military.
Ability to operate equipment and read technical information.
