Who will you be working with?
The AV Support Specialist will work closely with the Senior Communications Manager to provide day to day operations including IT & AV support, communication of issues, maintenance required, and troubleshooting.
How will you make a difference?
As a member of the Communications team you will provide a high level of “on demand” customer service while managing customer, executive and government official meetings and presentations with video conference and streamlining technologies.
What do we want to know about you?
You must have:
High school diploma or a technical degree or equivalent skilled trades or vocational training experience.
Working knowledge of Video Conferencing, conference center operations, audio and video presentation equipment, networking, and support applications
Knowledge of Industry Technology, including the ability to communicate improvements, enhancements, common trends, and benchmarking
Experience in the following equipment and programming preferred:
Lectrosonic wireless microphones, Auto Mixers and Hybrids
Clearone Auto Mixers and Hybrids
Digital Rapids and Epiphan Pearl Video Encoders
Crestron and AMX audio/video control systems
Vaddio and Sony cameras and controls
Behringer X32 and Soundcraft Si-Impact audio boards
Tricaster 410/8000 control system
AT&T and Verizon Metro Cell Cellular phone extenders
Various wireless microphone systems
Teams Conferencing systems
Webcasting Codecs
Shoot video and audio and upload via multiple codecs as needed.
Knowledge of Strand Dimmer Board operation and programming
Program and update Wabtec TV systems with Industry Weapon software
Maintain 160+ Teams Rooms and Conference rooms

What will your typical day look like?
Audio/Video consultation for business needs
General technical equipment support for conference center technologies
Coordinate with site facilities and electrician support as needed for site operations
Ability to refine and backup AV equipment and identify “Failure Mode” options/solutions
Provide root cause analysis of issues.
Give recommendations and possible solutions. Interact with third-party vendors when necessary.
Create processes where processes are needed but do not exist
Identify process improvements for all supported functions and equipment
Assist with operations of AV assets and other Wabtec sites and initiatives, including supporting software and firmware upgrades
Maintain documentation for all AV equipment use and supporting processes
Deliver support services for Wabtec TV environment including server side, network, and existing base in the field (100)
Physical Demands:
The employee is regularly required to talk and hear
Employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds
The position requires the employee to be on-site to perform daily duties and responsibilities
Willing to travel 25 - 50% of the time
You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The salary range for this role is between
$67,400.00-$96,000.00
The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. More information on offered benefits, which include health, welfare, and retirement, are available at mywabtecbenefits.com . Other benefit offerings for this role may include an annual bonus, if eligible.
