DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this position, you will act as a Customer Service Representative at DOT's Driver and Vehicle Services Customer Care Center, addressing a diverse range of questions related to the Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV), the Bureau of Driver Licensing (BDL), and other specific areas within DOT. Your duties will involve upholding a favorable perception of DOT to the public by providing detailed and accurate information in a polite and professional manner. You will be responsible for processing and explaining complex information using provided reference material and available systems, as well as applying independent judgment and decision making regarding the process, confidentiality, and adherence to established policies, procedures, and regulations. In this position, you must possess the ability to exercise discretion and judgment when providing information that could potentially be misunderstood or misused.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (commonwealth title); or One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements: You must be able to perform essential job functions.
