Job Duties and Responsibilities
Senior Engineer - Software sought by DISH Network, LLC in Englewood, CO.
Micro service implementation to enable both intra and inter-domain application integration
Work with DevSecOps to follow Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment CI/CD pipeline practices
Design, implement and test APIs, using Java with Spring Boot framework
Evaluate and use the right AWS services to implement scalable and cost-effective solutions
Build data processing solutions for efficient API performance
Integrate components into a finished product
Follow agile software development practices
Collaborate with other data analytics teams as needed to build enterprise solutions
Participate in the design and architecture of sustainable software
Assist in developing continuous integration pipelines
Collaborate with internal team members to share responsibilities for the platform
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Requires Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field, plus 3 years’ experience as a software engineer/programmer using Java, Spring Boot, & Oracle (PL/SQL) to build applications. Experience must also include 3 years using the tools SQL Developer, IntelliJ IDE/Eclipse and Putty and 2 years’ experience with UNIX. All required experience may have been gained concurrently.
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $123,351.63/Year - $123,351.63/Year
