PulteGroup Principal Enterprise Technical Architect - (Pulte Mortgage) in Englewood, Colorado

Principal Enterprise Technical Architect

Hybrid work arrangement - two times per month in office.

This position is located in Englewood, Colorado.

Description: Pulte Financial Services (an affiliate of PulteGroup) is looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect who's passionate about building next generation software and working with other architects to research and choose the right technologies to advance strategic initiatives. This individual will be the technical leader of a product team while simultaneously belonging to and contributing technical leadership for the Architecture group. The ideal candidate will have a deep and diverse technology background and a proven track record of solving complex business and technical challenges. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the overall enterprise architecture vision, strategy, standards, principles and governance frameworks for the Pulte Financial Services portfolio of software solutions.

  • Lead the analysis, design and roadmaps for complex, large-scale technology platforms and integration of systems and data across the enterprise

  • Mentor and educate Solution Architects and other technical staff members.

  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand strategic objectives and translate them into architectural solutions.

  • Partner with Solution Architects to research new technologies and provide technical guidance to the development organization.

  • Code regularly to create proof-of-concepts. Suggest product improvements and streamline development productivity.

  • Build an understanding of how our products are built and how they work, think end-to-end by connecting all the pieces of the business to deliver the features to delight our customers (internal and external).

  • Hold yourself and others accountable for supporting our systems through deployment coverage and triage, access to real time metrics and monitoring dashboards, and troubleshooting issues that arise.

  • Closely follow industry trends, demonstrate a passion and motivation for continuous learning.

  • Help continue to reflect our culture of learning through hosting brown bags, or demonstrations of new technologies and approaches.

  • Provide thought leadership and influence architecture decision-making at all levels.

    Requirements EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10+ years of software development experience and technical leadership

  • 2+ years of experience developing technical roadmaps and presenting technical solutions to teams.

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills to influence across levels

  • Deep expertise in Microsoft.NET software design, development, and architecture (.NET Core, ASP.NET, C#, etc.)

  • Experience with client-side JavaScript frameworks. (Vue.js a plus)

  • Proven ability to drive major digital transformation leveraging cloud-native architectures

  • In-depth knowledge of cloud architecture patterns, anti-patterns, and best practices.

  • Excellent relational database skills writing SQL, creating stored procedures, analyzing query plans, and writing DDL scripts.

  • Passion for building clean and testable code, creating unit tests, and focusing on code quality.

  • Demonstrates creativity and takes initiative in problem solving with a customer focus.

  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies and DevOps practices

  • Previous experience leading and developing highly available and scalable systems, with expertise in web services, front-end and back-end technologies across of range of digital solutions and environments (mobile, web, other new emerging technologies).

  • Champion and lead team members to have a culture of continuous improvement and a "get things done" attitude.

  • Self-motivated and enjoys getting into the details - diving into problems without hesitation.

  • You are the consummate team player - willing to help others, share your knowledge and work with others to the benefit of yourself, your team, and ultimately the organization.

Additional Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of the following technologies: XSL, Octopus, PowerShell, NoSQL and document databases.

  • Mortgage industry experience

    Salary Range: $160,000 to $180,000 annually depending upon experience.

This position is also eligible for an annual bonus based on the successful completion of defined performance objectives.
