Job Duties and Responsibilities

This position is responsible for completing daily and monthly audits and reconciliations; including but not limited to variance analysis and key performance reporting, as well as research and report on unclaimed property. Research, reconcile and provide monthly/annual 1099 IRS reporting. Respond to customer inquiries ensuring that problems are resolved in a timely manner and with significant customer satisfaction. Follow up on customer issues within agreed upon time-frames, ensuring resolution and minimize potential for problem re-occurrence. Ensure accurate & timely completion of all audits including employee purchases via P-Card program and expense reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consistently meet standards of production and quality in the completion of assigned tasks

  • Reviews and determines accuracy of source data, account balances, calculations, postings, etc; investigates and reconciles any discrepancies

  • Communicate with customers and responds to inquires; takes corrective actions

  • Analyze compiled data and recommends appropriate actions

  • Completes Key Performance Reporting and recommendations

  • Complete monthly reconciliations

  • Identifies opportunities for process improvement and brings them to management attention

  • Develop queries; generate and distribute reports and work product

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education: Bachelor's or Associate's Degree (or degree in progress) in accounting or related field is preferred; and two plus years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos

  • Ability to write simple correspondence and to present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and employees of the organization; ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions

  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations

  • Ability to prioritize and possess strong organizational skills

  • Maintain a high degree of professionalism, discipline and enjoy the competitive spirit of adventure

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $43,100.00/Hour - $61,600.00/Hour

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
