Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a 1st shift Maintenance Technician for a manufacturer of energy-saving insulated solutions. The individual will be responsible for performing preventative and reactive multi-craft maintenance and troubleshooting across three local plants. Equipment includes both European and Metric systems, with training available for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair bearings, chains, motors, shafts, rollers, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Read and interpret blueprints/schematics, use multimeter, and perform Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
Troubleshoot controls componentry including relays, switches, drives, and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
Maintain and repair equipment such as pulleys, belts, ovens, fasteners, gearboxes, circular knives, saw blades, trim saws, bailers, air compressors, compactors, sprockets, blowers, air ducts, and electric forklifts.
Essential Skills
2-4 years of multi-craft industrial maintenance experience.
Proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting of bearings, chains, motors, shafts, rollers, and hydraulics.
Experience in electrical troubleshooting up to 480v 3-phase, reading blueprints/schematics, using a multimeter, and performing LOTO.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair control components such as contactors, relays, drives, and VFDs.
Possess a basic tool set/toolbox including tape measure, sockets, wrenches, allen wrenches, and pliers.
Comfortable working at heights of 20-30 feet using scissor lifts and ladders.
Willingness to collaborate with production supervisors and employees to provide necessary support.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Welding and fabrication experience.
Experience working with metric machines.
Knowledge of Siemens PLCs.
Veterans with aircraft or vehicle/tank maintenance experience.
Bilingual skills.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
