Job Description
Seeking a Maintenance Technician for a CNC & aluminum extrusion facility. You will be responsible for all aspects of plant maintenance, including preventive maintenance (PMs), reactive maintenance, and any facility maintenance that arises. You can expect to work on CNC machinery, extrusion machinery, brake presses, lasers, and some powder coating machines. PMs include basic greasing of bearings, tightening of bolts, etc. You will be responsible for fixing all aspects of the extrusion machines, including 480v 3-phase motors, servos, AC/DC motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, some small level conveyors, extruders, VFDs, and gearboxes. All machines are operated on PLCs. In a typical day, you will participate in a Passover meeting and spend most of your day doing reactive maintenance to ensure production is kept running.
Responsibilities
Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on plant equipment.
Work on CNC machinery, extrusion machinery, brake presses, lasers, and powder coating machines.
Maintain and repair extrusion machines, including 480v 3-phase motors, servos, AC/DC motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, extruders, VFDs, and gearboxes.
Participate in Passover meetings and ensure smooth production operations.
Conduct basic greasing of bearings and tightening of bolts as part of PMs.
Essential Skills
Mechanical troubleshooting skills with brake presses, hydraulics, cylinders, conveyors, and rollers.
Electrical troubleshooting skills with 12v electric drives, AC/DC motors, schematic reading, and 480v 3-phase systems.
PLC troubleshooting skills, including reading ladder logic and identifying relay switch/fuse problems versus logic issues.
Ability to stay busy and work with minimal supervision.
Basic set of tools (e.g., ratchets, wrenches, sockets, screwdrivers, pliers).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High-level PLC skills in troubleshooting, editing, and programming.
Previous extrusion maintenance experience.
Experience with installing new machines.
Welding and fabrication skills.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
