JOB SUMMARY
PCA's perform a variety of routine and advanced patient care tasks under the direction of nursing staff to assist medical and nursing personnel in the examination , treatment, and care of patients
They perform a variety of clerical and technical tasks as assigned,
Participate in patient care interventions and personal care procedures for patients,
Perform approved dressings and wound care ;participate in nutritional activities; assist with personal hygiene; assist with ambulation; assist with bowel and bladder elimination; provide such additional care as required to meet the personal needs and comfort of assigned patients, BLS certified required.
