This Principal Analyst will be responsible for a critical strategic watch FFP Development program within the Advanced Products and Solutions SBU. You will work closely with the area program manager and functional representatives at all stages of the programs. The PhantomStrike program is a Fixed Price Major program with internal EV tracking, a Major EAC, DCS contracting, and other unique aspects. This is a growth area with heavy DCS proposal effort and internal investment in addition to the current executing program, requiring tactical thinking and quick learning. You will be responsible for ensuring on time deliverables to internal customers. You will also assist with attending various leadership meetings and make recommendations to the Program Managers during financial discussions.
You will need to prioritize all customer requirements for quality and on-time analysis and reporting and have the ability to interface with Senior Managers and Senior Directors. Ability to analyze and effectively communicate financial data, as well as partner and be flexible with other functions to meet business expectations is needed to create a successful business partnership.
What you Will Do
Provide financial analysis for PhantomStrike program.
Perform SAP Earned Value Reporting and utilize PMX to create and maintain EV artifacts.
Coordinating and managing the quarterly Estimate At Complete (EAC) process
Monitor funding status and program costs to support billings as well as customer inquiries.
Supporting multiple levels of reviews, including weekly financial meeting (PPR, SRO, Forecast, Actuals tracking).
Prepare charts and financial data to management on a minimum of a monthly basis.
Monitoring program expenditures, work performance, and comparing to forecast for accuracy and alignment.
Support the AOP and LRP processes, ensuring adherence to RFS and APS timelines and coordinating with the program teams for inputs and agreement
Provide financial support for Ad Hoc requests and special projects in the greater portfolio.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
Experience in communicating financial concepts, trends and variances to management.
Experience with SAP (APEX/PRISM) or similar tools.
Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and EACs.
Qualifications We Prefer
Understanding of Sales, Profit, Bookings, and Cash Flow forecasting.
Proactive, creative and innovative in solving problems and issues.
Ability to Work under minimal supervision: plan and manage daily tasks, meet deadlines, analyze, provide results and recommend solutions to various levels of management.
Strong communication skills (written and oral).
Excellent personal computer skills including a high level of proficiency with MS Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
Strong analytical abilities.
Understanding and application of finance principles, concepts, practices, and standard knowledge of industry practices.
Shows initiative by seeking ways to improve processes and data analysis.
Understanding of Raytheon financial and accounting policies and procedures.
Experience in organizing, preparing, and presenting briefings to customers, management, and peers.
Ability to meet critical deadlines and develop and apply innovative solutions and process improvements.
Ability to take ownership and be accountable through individual actions and teamwork, continually working toward the goal of improving processes and efficiency.
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
Ability to quickly master Business Systems.
Additional Information
This position is grade P3, Principal Specialist, Program Cost Controls.
Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
Relocation assistance is not available.

The salary range for this role is 90,000 USD - 182,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
