Description
Based in El Segundo, Los Angeles, this role reports directly to the COO and leads a remote team of four. You’ll have full visibility across the supply chain, with responsibilities that go beyond day-to-day operations. This includes driving process simplification, automation initiatives, and operational excellence across all supply chain functions.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Manage daily operations with our third-party logistics partner to ensure smooth domestic and international fulfillment
Oversee all modes of transportation (ocean, air, parcel, LTL) to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery; identify and drive cost-saving opportunities without compromising service
Monitor 3PL performance and execute continuous improvements across logistics and fulfillment
Lead and support the D2C customer service team, ensuring high service levels and timely resolution of customer inquiries
Oversee a remote team of order fulfillment specialists handling B2B and D2C order processing
Supervise remote customer service agents managing inbound customer communication via the website
Monitor and resolve system issues related to order fulfillment (EDI, ERP, and integration platforms)
Track and report on key operational and customer service metrics, including freight costs, non-compliance chargebacks, returns, and service quality
We’re looking for someone with experience in logistics, transportation, and e-commerce/ERP platforms - someone who’s focused on cost optimization, high service standards, and continuous improvement.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, and transportation management (domestic and international); customer support experience is a plus
• Hands-on experience with EDI, ERP, and e-commerce platforms; TrueCommerce, NetSuite, Shopify, Celigo, and Zendesk experience preferred
• Proven track record of managing 3PL warehouse operations and transportation providers
• Familiarity with retail fulfillment for key accounts such as Ulta, Sephora, and Amazon
Personal Characteristics
• Excellent communicator with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Deep understanding of 3PL and freight cost structures, shipping methods, and freight optimization
• Strategic thinker with a strong ability to balance cost, service, and evolving business needs
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $105000.00/yr.
