Honeywell Material Handler - Level 1 in El Paso, Texas

As a Material Handler Level 1 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in the efficient movement and storage of materials within our organization. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials, as well as maintaining accurate inventory records. Your attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures will contribute to the smooth operation of our supply chain.

You will report directly to our Materials Manager and you'll work out of our El Paso, TX location on a full-time, on-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and productivity of our operations by ensuring the timely availability of materials for production and minimizing inventory discrepancies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders or invoices

• Store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper organization and inventory accuracy

• Pick, pack, and stage materials for production or shipment

• Perform cycle counts and physical inventories to maintain accurate inventory records

• Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, to move materials within the facility

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any material-related issues or discrepancies

YOU MUST HAVE

• Attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures

• Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management

• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 50 pounds

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

WE VALUE

• Experience in a similar role or warehouse environment

• Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment

• Knowledge of inventory management systems

• Basic math skills for inventory calculations

• High School Diploma or equivalent
