Robert Half Customer Service Representative in El Paso, Texas

Description We are looking for a Credit Clerk based in El Paso, Texas, who will be a vital part of our customer service team. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity within the telecom industry. As a Credit Clerk, you will be handling customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency

• Maintain precise customer credit records

• Resolve customer credit inquiries promptly and professionally

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take necessary action to collect delinquent payments

• Act as the key liaison between the company and customers to build and establish long-term relationships

• Provide customer service support in quoting, fulfilling demand, ensuring on-time delivery of orders, and providing engineering support

• Address and troubleshoot customer problems in coordination with internal and external resources

• Take responsibility for on-going sales support activities for the order to invoice process

• Ensure timely processing of customer purchasing orders

• Manage the customer interface for backend quality processes, corrective actions, and field quality reports

• Handle credit processes to ensure inventory integrity and minimize write offs/bill backs

• Manage the customer interface for crucial credit & financial information as well as coordination of all available resources and support functions. Requirements • Proficiency in handling inbound and outbound calls

• Proven experience in customer service roles

• Proficiency in data entry tasks

• Ability to handle email correspondence professionally and effectively

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

• Experience in order entry processes

• Ability to schedule appointments efficiently and accurately

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

• High level of attention to detail

• Ability to work in a team environment

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Ability to work under pressure and handle difficult situations.
