Description
We are introducing an opportunity for a CFO in El Paso, Texas. The role requires a strategic leader who can enhance the financial performance of our operations across the U.S. and Mexico. The CFO will be tasked with developing financial strategies in line with the organization's objectives while ensuring all regulatory requirements are met.
Responsibilities:
• Formulate, implement, and oversee robust financial strategies, policies, procedures, and controls to maintain financial integrity and promote organizational growth.
• Lead the finance and accounting teams in managing budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support for decision-making.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of financial reports and statements.
• Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes, analyzing variances and recommending corrective actions.
• Communicate financial performance to key stakeholders, outlining potential risks, and recommending ways to maximize profitability.
• Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement within the finance and accounting team.
• Ensure the integrity of financial data and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Requirements • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position
• Proven expertise in accounting functions and financial management
• Demonstrated experience with budget processes and cash flow analysis
• Proficiency in financial reporting and budgeting-forecasting
• Ability to make strategic recommendations based on financial analysis and projections
• Proven experience in strategic planning and execution
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of team development
• Ability to analyze variance, identify key trends, and make appropriate recommendations
• Demonstrated commitment to drive continuous improvement in financial processes
• Proficiency in preparing and analyzing financial statements
• Experience in collaborating with different teams to ensure financial objectives are met.
