Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic / Technician to join our team. This role involves conducting routine inspections, identifying and troubleshooting mechanical and hydraulic issues, performing scheduled maintenance and repairs on hydraulic and mechanical systems, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company standards. The position requires working independently during the third shift to address less urgent maintenance tasks and minor facilities tickets.
Responsibilities
Conduct routine inspections of hydraulic and mechanical systems to identify issues.
Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on hydraulic and mechanical systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic and mechanical system issues using advanced tools and techniques.
Conduct thorough inspections to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
Address minor facilities tickets such as painting, changing light bulbs, and door knobs.
Perform maintenance tasks on conveyor systems, pumps, VFDs, sensors, and motors up to 480v.
Work independently to resolve maintenance tasks during the third shift.
Essential Skills
Experience troubleshooting conveyor systems, pumps, VFDs, sensors, motors up to 480v, and valves.
Ability to work independently.
General electrical knowledge (480v or less).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with minor facilities tasks such as painting and changing light bulbs.
Ability to diagnose and resolve hydraulic and mechanical issues.

Work Environment
This position involves working in a large production/machine shop campus with multiple buildings. The role is during the third shift (10:30pm - 6:00am) where there is minimal production activity, allowing time to address maintenance tasks. The work includes handling hydraulic, electrical (480v or less), and general electrical tasks. Dress code and facility conditions are standard for a production environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of El Cajon, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $35.00/hr.
