Philips Senior Clinical Research Coordinator in Eindhoven, Netherlands

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Support the European Clinical Operations department in executing international and national studies. Manage study documents, materials, devices, financial documents and clinical trial management systems. You will manage/oversee financial activities, while remaining a mentor and expert for other clinical research coordinators. A great number of different administrative tasks and application of people and organizational skills are required.

You are a part of

The Clinical Operations team supporting clinical studies across Philips. This exciting opportunity ensures exposure to a multitude of indications, medical devices, and workflow solutions. This position works in partnership with R&D, marketing, regulatory, quality, and legal among other functional areas. This matrix organization approach will improve collaboration and your learning and development across a multitude of disciplines.

Your responsibilities

  • Provide support to Clinical Study Manager and Clinical Research Associates in managing clinical studies, in compliance to all applicable regulations (like ISO 14155) and Philips procedures

  • Set-up and maintain Clinical Trial Management System records

  • Set-up and maintain Trial Master Files and Investigator Site files and corresponding clinical trial documents, for multiple projects in parallel

  • Support set-up clinical study contracts, purchase orders, invoice submission and tracking, reconciliation and financials audits

  • Support product ordering, shipping, tracking and reconciliation

  • Act as super user/administrator for multiple Clinical Study systems

  • Able to provide functional management to group of Clinical Research Coordinators, including training/mentoring junior of new staff

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • At least 3-5 years related clinical research coordinator experience in clinical studies (healthcare setting, CRO, medical device and/or pharmaceutical company and/or industry)

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English language

  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

  • A pro-active, committed and motivated attitude

  • Ability to work well in a team environment but also independently without significant oversight

  • Ability to efficiently organize and prioritize work within a multifaceted framework and set deadlines

  • Must be proficient at using Microsoft Office products and able to train new staff on clinical trial systems and tools
