Job Title: Designer and DrafterJob Description
An Engineering Technician serves as the technical resource for providing engineering, product, and installation information necessary to execute new and reconstruction cooling tower projects.
Responsibilities
Generate installation and fabrication drawings, along with bills of materials, for basic cooling tower components with supervision.
Assist with field problem resolution, design and development of new components, and cooling tower inspections as required.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.
0-3 years of experience in detailing and application of structural, mechanical, and materials detailing and application skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Product experience in cooling tower design is preferred but not required.
Experience with all materials of construction including lumber, fiberglass, steel, and concrete is a plus.
Experience in practical construction and assembly of products.
Ability to communicate and cooperate effectively with personnel.
Willingness to travel as required.
Work Environment
The work environment includes working with a premier cooling tower designer, manufacturer, and contractor. The company provides research-powered solutions for customer needs in the power generation, industrial, refrigeration, and HVAC evaporative cooling markets. The company offers new and replacement field-erected cooling towers and a variety of cooling tower aftermarket services, including replacement parts.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
