Position Title: Director of Parking Services (AP25-037)\ Location: Edwardsville, IL\ Division: Administrative Svcs\ Apply Before: 00715\ Department: Parking Services\ FLSA: Exempt
\ Description:\ The Director of Parking Services will oversee all aspects of day-to-day operations for SIUE Parking Services. This includes supervising staff, managing the parking registration process, enforcing parking policies, addressing customer inquiries and complaints, and coordinating parking logistics for special events. The role is also responsible for ensuring the fiscal integrity of Parking Services by overseeing revenue, expenses, and the management of various University accounts. The Director will manage vendor relationships, oversee contracts and purchases, and serve as the primary liaison for all parking-related committees. Additionally, this position will ensure the effectiveness of the University\'s wayfinding systems, emergency phone network, parking meters, and automated parking equipment.\ \ Minimum Acceptable Qualifications
What You\'ll Do
- Supervise and manage all Parking Services staff, ensuring effective team performance and operational efficiency.
- Oversee the coordination and implementation of the parking registration process for the University community.
- Enforce and update SIUE parking policies and procedures, ensuring compliance across all levels.
- Address and resolve customer complaints and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Plan and coordinate parking logistics for special events on campus, ensuring adequate parking and traffic flow.
- Manage all fiscal aspects of Parking Services, including overseeing budgets, revenue, and expenses related to parking operations.
- Serve as the fiscal officer for various University accounts, ensuring responsible and transparent financial management.
- Oversee all purchasing, contracts, and agreements with parking vendors and service providers.
- Act as the primary liaison between Parking Services and various University committees focused on parking and transportation matters.
- Collaborate with the University community to assess and address parking needs across campus.
- Ensure proper staffing and efficient handling of all events, ensuring safety and guest satisfaction.
- Manage the planning, expansion, and maintenance of interior and exterior wayfinding systems, acting as the primary point of contact with vendors and designers.
- Oversee the maintenance and operation of emergency phone networks, parking meters, and automated parking equipment.
Minimum Acceptable Qualifications
