Job Title: CNC Machinist
Job Description
As a CNC Machinist, you will operate a CNC Lathe (80%) and CNC Mill machine (20%).
Your duties will include entering initial settings, positioning the work material correctly, and configuring machine settings.
You will load and unload materials, verify measurements and correct materials, perform machine inspections, and basic maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities
Operate CNC Lathe and CNC Mill machines.
Enter initial settings and configure machine settings.
Load and unload materials, verify accurate measurements and correct materials.
Perform machine inspections and basic maintenance tasks.
Recognize broken tooling and inserts during operation and make offset adjustments.
Use CNC Bandsaw, Manual Lathe and Mill, hand tools, power and pneumatic tools, and operate a pallet jack.
Perform quality control using calipers, blueprints, and verniers.
Essential Skills
4-5+ years of machine operating experience.
Experience with basic set-up and troubleshooting.
Understanding of blueprints and drawings.
Experience with CNC machine operation, including lathe and milling machines.
Experience with Okuma, Fanuc Controls
Experience with API Threading.
Ability to work with tolerances of +/- 1 thou.
Proficiency in using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and verniers.
Experience in oil and gas (O&G) industry (for high-level machinists).

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $40.00/hr.
