Why You’ll Love This Role:
As a Clinical Quality Consultant , you’ll serve as a trusted partner to physicians, administrators, and clinical leaders to improve care delivery and strengthen alignment between hospital and medical staff goals. Your work will be vital in promoting patient safety, quality outcomes, and compliance with key regulatory standards like Joint Commission Accreditation .
You’ll lead peer reviews, facilitate root cause analyses, drive performance improvement projects, and serve as a key consultant for clinical quality initiatives.
This is a dynamic and mobile 1.0 FTE salaried position with the flexibility of hybrid work—some on-site presence is required, so candidates must live within a reasonable commute of the Twin Cities area .
What You’ll Be Doing:
Lead complex investigations into safety and quality issues, turning insight into action to prevent recurrence and improve outcomes.
Facilitate meaningful quality, safety, and performance improvement initiatives with hospital teams.
Promote best practices, reliable design principles, and equity-driven care standards.
Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to redesign systems and enhance quality measures.
Support hospital committees, lead accreditation efforts, and guide improvement efforts with measurable results.
Mentor junior consultants and help elevate team performance.
What We’re Looking For:
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting
A collaborative mindset with a passion for problem-solving and patient-centered care
Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., CMS, JCAHO, HIPAA)
Preferred:
Bachelor’s in Nursing
5+ years of RN clinical experience
Experience in patient safety or quality improvement
