Our Internship Program

Our internship program is a starting point for a career journey at Burlington and here is a peek at what you can expect:

  • A 10-week summer program where you’ll work side by side with industry leaders responsible for day-to-day support of overall supply chain and logistics operations and execution.

  • Hands-on experience learning to develop and manage reporting and dashboarding to provide insight for Supply Chain and Operations teams to execute shipping and receiving goals.

  • Direct mentorship from a current Manager who will be your “buddy” for support and guidance throughout the program experience.

  • Obtain learnings and skills through leadership development seminars, classroom-style training in areas like retail math and Microsoft Excel, tours of our stores, peer-to-peer social activities, and community service projects.

  • A hybrid model that mirrors our full-time associates and is typically 2-3 days in-office and 2-3 days remote per week. This schedule is subject to change. Relocation benefits are available for those who are eligible.

Our Day in the Life of a Supply Chain Analyst Intern

  • Assist in development of reporting and PowerBI dashboarding to support Supply Chain stakeholders.

  • Review and modify SQL queries to analyze and interpret data.

  • Support data collaboration efforts with partners across the Supply Chain.

  • Monitor production data and accuracy to ensure efficiency.

  • Always maintain a professional attitude and appearance.

  • Navigating and confidently managing a fast-paced environment with complex problem solving.

Our Supply Chain Analyst Interns

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Management, Data Analytics or similarly related field).

  • Graduating with a Bachelor’s degree between December 2024 and August 2025.

  • Data-driven problem-solver who can build and maintain productive partnerships by living our core values.

  • Ability to think critically with high attention to detail and listening, oral, and written communication skills.

  • A self-starter who takes initiative with a sense of curiosity, adaptability, and courage to always be a student of the business.

  • Affinity for team leadership / coaching, addressing complex problems with limited inputs, a fast paced and always evolving environment, and building a leadership career in Distribution, Supply Chain, Logistics.

  • Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office and programs with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access and PowerBI.

With our office located in New Jersey, reliable transportation is required as Burlington is not easily accessible by public transportation.
