As the Data Implementation & Reporting Manager, supporting Operational Enablement within Optum Financial, you'll work with one of the top teams in the business and find yourself digging deep to find the solutions to help people live healthier lives. The Data Implementation & Reporting Manager will leverage their expertise to deliver significant value managing a portfolio of reports and support Operational Excellence activities. This is a hybrid position located in Eden Prairie, MN or Draper, UT.

As a manager of a data and analytics pod, you will lead the agile meeting structure and portfolio of two work pods. You will lead monthly reporting meetings and be the primary point of contact for operational data. As an individual contributor, you will build business intelligence dashboards and data models for executive reports. You will incorporate your data analytics, Agile, Lean and process improvement knowledge to deliver projects that improves the customer experience and provides business value to the organization.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, review, forecast and trend complex data

  • Present analysis and recommendations for operational and business review/planning

  • Support short- and long-term operational/strategic business activities through analysis

  • Develop, recommend, and implement business solutions through research and analysis of data and business processes

  • Lead data presentations and speak to the data from an executive viewpoint

  • Diagnose ongoing process improvement opportunities, develop solutions with your peers

  • Lead other project and process improvement activities

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of applicable experience delivering business improvement projects

  • 2+ years of applicable experience managing a small data team either in a multi-site environment or managing a global team

  • Working knowledge of relational databases, database structures (i.e. Tableau, SQL queries)

  • Working knowledge of establishing business intelligence dashboards

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Data analytics certification or related coursework

  • Scrum or Lean certification

  • 2+ years of experience in call center operations and/or claims processing operations

  • 2+ years of experience in business/financial analysis or the banking industry

  • Experience with ISO 9001 auditing
