Qualifications
- Reliable form of transportation
- Acceptable background check per company standards - Must pass PA State, FBI and Child Abuse clearances
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Weekends as needed
- Experience required in the following: Installation of different types of roofing systems such as EPDM, TPO, BUR, and other forms of low-slope roofing systems and sheet metal.
Responsibilities
- Installing, maintainting and repairing commercial roofing systems.
- Installation of different types of roofing systems such as EPDM, Single-ply, coatings, BUR, and other forms of low-slope roofing systems.
- Install standing seam metal roofs, sheet metal and flashings
- Safe operation of tools of the trade (hand tools, power tools etc.)
- Follow OSHA regulations and other regulatory agencies relating to job site safety, demonstrates safe work practices
- Work outside in a wide variety of weather conditions and to meet the physical demands of the position, including mobility needed to complete tasks
- Climbing and operating on ladders, able to handle at least 50 lbs
- Effective communication with foremen, supervisors, and other employees
- Willingness to learn new systems and application/installation strategies.
- OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 encouraged but not mandatory for hiring
