Legal Advertising Rep - Full -time, Easton MD

Job Summary This position is responsible for typesetting, proofing, billing of inbound emails and phone orders for legal advertising. Additional duties include customer service assistance. This position will report directly to the Business Office Manager. They will handle any legal advertising for assigned geographical zone. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, good oral and written comprehension, deductive reasoning, strong work ethic, high computer aptitude and willingness to assist others based on workload volume.

Job Functions

The successful candidate must be a flexible, self-starters, attentive to details, diplomatic, able to provide direction, and able to multi-task. This position will work with different personality types and across several publications. Candidates for this position should have strong interpersonal skills and client orientation and exhibit an ability to work effectively with internal and external contacts as a team member as well as a team leader.

Essential Functions:

Perform job duties and conduct self in accordance with company core values.

Initiate and nurture effective, professional relationships with internal and external contacts.

This position will typeset, proof, and ensure all So. Md. Legals are published as required.

This position will perform back-office administrative tasks as appropriate to ensure that advertising runs according to schedule.

This position will work with employees of other departments to process advertising materials and collect payment.

Minimum Requirements:

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in the print media industry.

Technology Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook is required. Ability to learn new programs required.

Education:

Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
