Michigan State University(MSU) Research Assistant II in East Lansing, Michigan

Position Summary

The Yi laboratory in the Department of Physiology at Michigan State University seeks a lead research assistant/lab manager to propel our research team. We investigate the molecular mechanisms behind the extrachromosomal DNA (ecDNA)'s oncogenic behaviors, which is well known as a cause of therapy resistance in cancers. We utilize a high-throughput image-based genetic screening platform to identify potential mechanisms. Our research goal is to develop a novel way to target ecDNA-harboring cancer cells specifically.
