Position Summary(Basic Job Function)
This is a temporary or an on-call position. Provides professional support. Responsibilities may include general business, science, medical, agricultural or other professional support functions. Term: Temps can work two (2) nine (9) month terms with a week break in service in between and at the end of the second term terminate for three (3) months or switch to an on-call. On-Call allowed to work 1039 hours in any twelve (12) month period.
Unit Position Summary
The MSU College of Education Office of Academic Affairs seeks an administrative assistant to support the College of Education Director of Educator Preparation and Accreditation in accreditation and continuous improvement tasks. Work would include but is not limited to: updating websites; creating organizational charts, directories, and documents; creating a housing system of micro-credential, accreditation, and program approval documents on a website and/or shared platforms; creating courses in our Watermark Student Learning and Licensure system, gathering and inputting data on various platforms; reviewing and sending communications in assistance of assisting the Director of EPP. The position will begin when filled in 2024 and continue through July 2024. This position is remote friendly and the work load will fluctuate. Days and work hours (approximately 20 hours/week) can be scheduled around the successful candidate's availability. Hourly rate is $20-$30/hour, commensurate with experience.

Technology proficiency:
- Creating and editing websites
- Familiar/comfortable with data analytics and input
- Fluent in Microsoft products, Zoom, social media
Critical thinking skills
Strong writing, verbal, and communication skills
High work ethic, self-starter, detail-oriented, thorough, innovative, able to meet deadlines, and is flexible to changing priorities and needs
BA degree in any college or field connected to the position's qualifications
A working knowledge of:
- Professional writing -- proofreading, drafting emails, promotional materials, writing project reports
- Creating videos and/or publications and navigating/creating websites
- Data Entry
