East Hartford Repair Operations (EHRO) has an opportunity open for the Shared Services Operations Manager position within the Connecticut Rotating Parts (CTRP) team. As the Shared Services Operations Manager, the candidate will lead the two shared service areas within CTRP (Induction and Special Processes) and will manage the team of cell leaders running operations on the shop floor.
This role is a business ownership role within CTRP that will drive the success of the entire shop, since the area under the Shared Services Operations Manager are shared areas between all product cells. Successful candidates in this role enjoy consistent problem solving to grow their team and business, strategic thinking to guide a large workforce, and a fast paced shop environment where you can make lasting impact.
What You Will Do:
Give strategic direction to the cell leadership team for the Induction and Special Process areas of CTRP to meet customer needs, while improving business financial performance
Establish processes to support shop flow and to create lasting success for the Induction Cell and Special Process cells in support of home cell delivery targets
Coaching and Training the team of employees to grow their technical and lean manufacturing skills
Managing projects within the Induction and Special Process businesses, using lean manufacturing and quality improvement efforts
Partner with Product Cell Operations Management and Engineering Management to identify opportunities to introduce innovative technology to improve legacy processes, and improving the safety of our employees in a high risk area

Leadership of large teams with specialized skills
Technical exposure to PW proprietary processes, only done at EHRO
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelors degree and 10 years of experience to include employee leadership, business strategy and continuous improvement or 14 years of experience in lieu of degree.
Prior Operations experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Management experience of a shop floor team
Passion for interaction with employees and coaching/mentoring/growth of your team
Track record of problem solving in a fast paced environment

This role is:
Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
