War on Waste in one of the key initiatives in Mondelez for 2025-26. We are focused on driving waste across the organization to best in class levels to deliver financial value, unlock capacity, ensure high quality products and overall enable our sustainability goals. Finished Good Waste and Liquidations drives a huge P&L impact annually in NA; The role will focus on developing and implementing strategy for reducing Finished Goods Waste focused and liquidations within Mondelez Network.
How you will contribute
You will:
Partner with E2E Planning & CS&L to Finished Goods waste through right tools and systems with a focus on Ageing, damages, Liquidations and Raw & pack waste
Deliver AC target and build roadmap to BIC standards
Own the gap analysis & actions required to change the trajectory of results
Assess the current IBP and Business performance processes to identify opportunities for elevating waste in the right forums, S&OE, IR, Actuals review, etc; Ensure issues are escalated in a timely manner within the IBP Process (ESR/ IR etc) and resolutions acted upon
Partner with commercial for root cause analysis, prioritization , implementation of projects to reduce waste in areas such as customer returns, allowances
Assess the liquidations process to identify gaps and design the process with improved accountability and ways of working
Partner with Manufacturing Waste pillar on the packaging improvement initiatives for reducing downstream damages
Be a champion of the waste program across the organization
What you will bring
A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career. You will bring experience and knowledge in:
10+ years of professional experience in a supply chain management
Strong operational & supply chain experience in CPG industry; Supply Planning, Demand Planning, IBP experience preferred
Good understanding of end-to-end processes in supply chain and business environment; project leadership / management skills and technical and financial aspects of the business
Strategic thinking, while having ability to excel in leading tactical programs
Highly action oriented, drive for results, innovative, challenging actual set-ups, entrepreneurial ability
Excellent communication (verbal & written), coaching, and leadership skills in a team-based environment
Demonstrated abilities in analytics, problem solving and team building
Possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization
Education / Certifications:
Bachelor's Degree required, MBA preferred
The base salary range for this position is $137,300 to $188,825; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
