This will be a hybrid postion with a minumum of 2 days/week at a Astronics location
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Are you passionate about Atlassian products and driving continuous improvement? At Astronics, you'll lead the optimization of our Atlassian environments, ensuring efficiency and smooth operations across various departments, including IT, HR, and Engineering. As our go-to expert, you'll configure Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Atlassian Bitbucket, and Atlassian Confluence, while also pioneering future endeavors into CI/CD related to GitHub and associated agents/runners. You'll work within an agile structure, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and participating in agile ceremonies. You'll also have the flexibility to work remotely since the Jira users are spread across the US, Canada, and France.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Configuration:
Customize workflows, projects, fields, and issue types across Atlassian products.
Implement automation rules and scripting to enhance productivity.
Prepare detailed documentation, flow-charts, and diagrams for successful deployments.
Create dashboards, reports, and filters for stakeholders.
Project Management
Lead client meetings to gather requirements and analyze needs.
Coordinate data conversions and interface integrations.
Executes unit, integration and acceptance testing and develop verification methods to ensure data integrity.
Report progress on scheduling, implementation, and critical activities.
Training and Support
Provide training sessions and user support to ensure proper usage of JIRA.
Address user inquiries and offer solutions in a timely manner.
Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis on smaller break/fix.
Support our compliance team with audit scheduling.
Monitor performance metrics and identify improvement areas.
Upgrades and Maintenance:
Plan and execute product upgrades, patches, and migrations.
Help conduct routine system maintenance to ensure performance.
Educate users on updates and new features.
CI/CD Integration:
Implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using GitHub and associated tools.
Drive automation and integration to streamline processes.
As part of an agile team, actively participate in all agile ceremonies.

QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum)
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
2 years of proven experience as a Atlassian administrator or similar role.
Strong understanding of JIRA administration, customization, and plugin management.
Proficiency in JIRA administration, JQL, and scripting languages (e.g., Groovy).
Experience in planning, organizing, and managing time across multiple tasks.
Experience with GitHub and CI/CD methodologies.
Strong customer service and stakeholder communication skills.
Understanding of software implementation lifecycle and project management.
US Person status required.
Applicants must be professional, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently and collaboratively. Flexibility with work schedule and ability to lift up to 50 pounds may be necessary.

Does not have any supervisory responsibilities but may serve as a coach and mentor for other positions within the organization.

Compensation
$70,000-90,000/year
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
An offer of employment is contingent on successfully passing a drug test and background check, and applicants who do not successfully pass both the drug test and background check will not be considered for employment.
