Thomas Reuters Regional Sales Manager, Tax and Accounting in Eagan, Minnesota

Thomson Reuters is currently seeking a sales leader to join the Tax and Accounting business. The Regional Sales Manager works collaboratively with the Sales Executive, Sales Support, Solution Consultant and Sales Leadership teams worldwide to develop the sales strategy for maximizing sales across the customer base.This strategic people leader will be responsible for driving sales and retention of the Confirmation product within the United States and Canada. You will be responsible for successfully leading, managing, and growing a team of Sales professionals. Location: This position can be remote with a preference to be based within proximity to any of these corporate Hub office locations: Ann Arbor, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Dallas/Carrollton. About the Role In this opportunity as Regional Sales Manager, you will: Lead Sales Teams who are accountable for nurturing and growing existing client relationships. This position will provide strategic and operational leadership to all types of sales roles to meet sales, revenue, retention, and organizational objectives. Leads creation and execution of strategy to maximize current and future growth of products and solutions. Designs and develops strategies to increase market share and grow short- and long-term business through management of the segment. Create and implement a strategy to increase response rates supporting Legal, Audit, and AR/AP across the Confirmation offerings. Actively contribute to and work responsibly in a team environment, collaborating with selling partners and team members as appropriate. Excellent knowledge and understanding of products, solutions, and services within the Confirmation offering. Identify leads and prospects working alongside your team, other sales leaders, and internal counterparts. Ensure CRM is utilized for all client updates and is the central repository for key client data (prospecting, opportunities, revenue, next steps) Work with Marketing to drive strategic initiatives, programs, messaging, and campaigns within Region. About You You are a fit for the role of Regional Sales Manager if your background includes: 7+ years of Sales experience, with specifically 3 to 5 years' experience managing a sales team preferred Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Strategic Thinker: The ability to identify and solve client issues strategically Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with management and cross-functional teams, for both technical and non-technical audiences High level of integrity and understanding of sales ethics In-depth business and managerial knowledge of Sales Applies understanding of current industry trends to analyze and review potential issues. Good knowledge and understanding of cross-functional partners; demonstrated ability to collaborate with all levels of and functions within the organization Skilled at conflict resolution and problem-solving to achieve win-win outcomes In-depth experience in customer journey Mindsets and Behaviors of being customer obsessed, having a growth mindset, ability to challenge and commit, coach, care, model behaviors Strong technical aptitude/proficiency What's in it for you!
