Ecolab Inc Platform Engineer - Messaging and Conferencing in Eagan, Minnesota

R00227700 Platform Engineer - Messaging and Conferencing (Open) The position of Platform Engineer for Messaging and Conferencing requires specific expertise in support for the areas of MS Exchange, Mail flow security technologies, MS Teams, REACH Digital Signage, Polite Mail and Lotus Notes. This position also includes the on-site and remote support of Microsoft Teams Rooms conference room Audio Video standards and related solutions. The position also requires the ability to manage multiple different support issues at the same time. The position is highly visible by all in-office users and their leadership and can positively impact all users that join or organize MS Teams meetings where a conference room and the use of MS Teams is included. Position Location: This position in based out of our Eagan, MN office (Hybrid) What you will do: Assist the team lead in completing projects related to the installation and technicalsupport of Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) in North America Ecolab office locations. Assist the team lead and the support teams globally for MTR deployments globally Work directly with Ecolab facilities and GNS (Global Network Services) related to MTR deployment projects Perform root-cause analysis with MTR for issues identified, while coordinating with other support teams to propose corrective action forsupportprocesses and protocols. Assist the team lead in the coordination with vendor support and RMA/break-fix actions for MTR equipment. Assist the team lead in performing cursory site evaluations and risk analysis forMTR deployment projects for new and refurbished facilities. Support users with hosting and managing MS Teams Town Hall and Live Events Perform operational support duties for MS Exchange, MS Teams, MS Stream, Reach Digital signage and any break/fix actions required for MTR solutions via Service Now. Train new team members in these and other day-to-day operational tasks Be the SME for Lotus Notes user management, message routing and system administration Be the SME for user support, licensing and platform upgrades for PoliteMail as well as the main vendor contact Manage and maintain Ecolab DKIM and DMARC email authentication records Travel to Ecolab offices when necessary to evaluate potential and completed A/V projects related to MTR deployment projects or REACH digital media projects Be readily available to takesupportcalls for the areas above and be prepared to go on-site when needed. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 4 years of professional work experienceor no degree with 8 years of combined education and equivalent work experience 3 years of experience in a technical support role 3 or more years' experience with Audio Video Technology, both hardware and software (Microsoft Teams Room system) Experience working with Service Now Experience working with andsupportingWindows and Android based computers and equipment Experience working with mobile device management - e.g., Intune (Android & iOS) Experience working with and supporting Office 365 collaboration applications, MS Exchange, OneDrive, Active Directory and Microsoft Teams and Lotus Notes Experience creating and editing Dynamic Distribution Groups Experience creating and editing PowerShell scripts Working knowledge of email authentication protocols such as domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting, and Conformance (DMARC) and DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) Experience working in a customerserviceenvironment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work flexible work hours including occasional nights and weekends Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to work off-site Preferred Qualifications: Capable of working independently Strong team player and collaborative demeanor Must be analytical, well organized, and self-directed A trusted partner at nearly three million customer locations, Ecolab (ECL) is the global leader in water, hygiene and energy technologies and services that protect people and vital res urces.
