IQVIA Senior Cybersecurity Analyst in Durham, North Carolina
Job Summary
We are looking for senior incident responder to join our team based in our RTP office. The right person will be highly technical and should view information security as more than just a job but a passion. The day-to-day work is varied so we are seeking candidates with broad experience and skills including problem-solving, advanced analysis, digital forensics, product assessment and reverse engineering. There are also other opportunities to contribute to growing services where development and training experience will be a plus.
The role presents a dynamic opportunity to ensure the secure operation of the IQVIA global information technology (IT) infrastructure and processes through operating and maintaining our security safeguards while providing input to the continual improvement of the enterprise IT security design and configuration. This role plays a significant part in our Global Information Security team and will provide an excellent opportunity to liaise with key external and internal stakeholders locally while strengthening our Information Security function.
Responsibilities
Protecting the enterprise systems and information by promptly responding to security threats and incidents, acting individually and as part of a team to resolve issues
Acting as subject matter expert to provide insight and guidance to colleagues engaging in prevention measures
Analyzing cyber security incidents to solve issues and improve incident handling procedures
Creating thorough reports, documenting all incidents and procedures, and presenting findings to the team and leadership on a routine basis
Essential Skills
Passionate attitude toward information security
Solid scripting skills; any of C++, Python, Powershell, Ruby, x86 or ARM assembler
Strong written and communication skills
Deep understanding of computer intrusion activities, incident response techniques, tools, and procedures
Able to demonstrate understanding of key networking concepts including: TCP/IP, Layer 2/3 switching and routing
Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail
Must be action-oriented and have a proactive approach to solving issues
Reverse engineering skills desired
Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or information technology
One of the following certificates: GCFA, GCIH, GCFE, GNFA, GREM, OSCP, CISSP, GIAC
5+ years of experience in Incidence Response, ability to work autonomously with Stakeholders around IR

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $82,000.00 - $124,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
