Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma UI Designer III in Durant, Oklahoma
Starting pay: $100,480.00
Job Purpose or Objective(s): The UI/Human Factors Engineer will assist in developing and implementing design concepts, creating and evaluating prototypes, and conducting task and objective analysis to enhance software usability. This role also involves investigating human error control, providing product evaluation, and producing specifications to describe user requirements and internal structures for product development.
Primary Tasks:
Develop application user interface effectiveness assessment strategy and identify area of improvement using industry standards and best practices
Develop complex user interface(s) that encompass complex business requirements
Develop, enhance, and optimize complex user interface prototypes that align with business requirements
Builds, enhances, and leverage working relationships with various teams and departments
Provide detailed analytics and opportunity assessment to all stakeholders on user interface business alignment
Resolves complex issues using professional concepts while adhering to and providing some guidance on company policies, standard practices, and procedures.

Required Education, Skills and Experience:
MINIMUM
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, graphic design or related field or 8+ years of relevant professional experience in lieu of degree
Good understanding of software design
Extensive understanding of wire-framing, prototyping, user flows, and site mapping
Extensive understanding of business analysis, requirements analysis, and gap analysis
Extensive knowledge of design-centric tools such as: Photoshop, Illustrator, Balsamiq, Sketch, or equivalent
Good understanding of Agile development concepts such as: Scrum, eXtreme programming, or Kanban
Good knowledge of IT concepts, strategies, architectures and technical standards
Programming skills a plus
UI or other IT Certifications a plus
