Most of all, compassion is required! $25.25-$28.15/hour depending on experience.
ABOUT THE POSITION: The successful candidate will have a variety of duties, including but not limited to:
Responsibilities Helps to fulfill the care requirements of our patients. Working closely with others in a fast paced, team environment under the direction of the Nurse Manager Accountable for ensuring that the utmost in competent care and safety is consistently delivered to all residents. Handles physician orders, administers medications, collect and maintain resident data, take vitals, assist with resident comfort Assure proper procedures are followed at all times Communicate with residents and their families in an appropriate manor
Qualifications: Current and valid license as an LPN in the state of New York required Degree from accredited school or nursing/nursing program is required Current CPR certification required Education or experience in long term care or geriatric nursing is preferred Demonstrate effective communication skills, problem solving, and conflict resolution Must be flexible, punctual, professional, and reliable Strong customer service skills and compassion
