You will be assigned to projects in Canada or US working on projects in the Gas, Liquids, or Gas Distribution Business Units.You will be accountable for the project development activities associated with modification, expansion, operability, reliability, and integrity of existing Enbridge facilities. What you will do: Provide innovative, fit-for-purpose, development of projects in support of business drivers that protect and/or enhance pipeline and facility throughput and revenue, often providing options that permit customer flexibility and choice. Ensure appropriate stakeholder management; preliminary determination of regulatory requirements; completion of front-end engineering and designs, cost estimates, and project execution strategies are developed. Develop realistic and reliable project schedules and cost estimates for projects, while appropriately defining risks, uncertainties and likelihood for those schedules and cost estimates. Application of knowledge, experience and expert resources, to ensure schedules and cost estimates are appropriate for the project scope and risk profile Provide regular formal and informal project management reporting to Senior Management and stakeholders on assigned projects. Oversee technical activities such as preliminary engineering activities, scope development, hydraulic analysis, cost estimation, schedule development and risk assessment. Who you are: Engineering degree in an applicable subject area. Professional Engineering designation with APEGA is required if you reside in Edmonton or Calgary. Not required for US locations. Six or more years of progressively responsible experience in engineering design and project management related to the transportation of gas and liquid hydrocarbons by pipeline. Experience in design, project execution, or operations of pipeline and facility systems. Proficiency and communications skills related to leading and acting independently providing direction in a project environment. Ability to self-prioritize and problem solve using appropriate industry standard methodologies. Effective verbal and non-verbal communication skills including making presentations to senior leadership. Working Conditions: Office environment. Up to 30% travel to regional office or field sites.
