NDCP Financial Analyst Supervisor in Duluth, Georgia
Overview
TheFinancial Analyst Supervisorwill have ownership of the budgeting, reporting and strategic analysis for the operations of the business. The Financial Analyst Supervisor will be the primary point of contact, within finance, for leadership at their assigned distribution centers. The FAS will provide company stakeholders with an understanding of the key operational drivers in variances to budget and forecast, being the subject matter expert on all things relating to the operations of their distribution centers. This will necessitate regular coordination with various levels of leadership across finance and operations, to ensure alignment. Additionally, the Supervisor will play a large role in developing robust financial models, pro-forma financial statements, and other requirements as part of high-visibility operations initiatives. This role requires strong intellectual curiosity and financial modeling skillsets, as well as exceptional people skills as it involves regular interaction with senior leadership. The Supervisor will manage Financial Analysts.
Location:Duluth, GA
Schedule:M-F, 8 am - 5pm.
Hybrid:Onsite, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
Compensation:Competitive salary with bonus potential. Paid weekly
Responsibilities
Manage the budgeting and forecasting of operations in addition to developing an in-depth understanding of the various operational drivers impacting the financial results
Perform detailed variance analysis each period, in order to understand and effectively communicate period-to-date and year-to-date performance
Provide actionable insights for operations, based on analyzing and interpreting data and leveraging comparative analysis and metrics reporting to identify areas of opportunity
Interface regularly with Accounting counterpart(s) to ensure agreement of all numbers
Ad-hoc corporate project modeling, analysis and reporting
Qualifications
4-5 years of relevant FP&A experience required
Advanced Excel, intermediate Access and PowerPoint skills required
Strong grasp of general business, financial concepts and accounting principles
Some understanding of SAP a plus
Strong analytical and research skills
Demonstrated attention to detail as well as the ability to summarize results
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple, often competing, interests while working independently
Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including ability to present to groups
EDUCATION
Bachelor in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration required
Master in Business Administration or similar preferred
