From the check-in counter to the departure gate, and even behind the scenes, our Airport Operations team keeps operations at our airports running smoothly every single day.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist and support the Move Team manager in leading and supporting the Move Team supervisors and frontline employees, to ensure the optimal and safe performance of the Move Team function
Ensure supervisors and frontline employees are equipped, qualified and prepared to perform their jobs
Lead and direct a team of supervisors, by providing coaching and support, as they manage the performance of frontline employees and the Move Team function
Work closely with various departments to ensure operational integrity
Assist in all areas of the operation and provide leadership as needed
Working with the manager of the SOC Move Team, ensure regulatory compliance, including audits and briefings
Manage and oversee the overall Move Team function and performance
Lead and direct a team of Move Team supervisors in meeting local and divisional goals
Support and engage frontline employees in delivering a safe, dependable, and efficient operation
Liaise with various divisions and station personnel to provide outstanding performance
Conduct safety audit and briefings, and ensure regulatory and training compliance
Various collateral assignments and other related responsibilities as assigned by the manager
Investigate and support supervisors in investigating, workplace concerns and policy violations.

Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education
3+ years’ experience in airline or airport operations, in a large/hub setting
Minimum 2 years supervisory experience
Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Successful completion of interview and background checks
Ability to acquire airport SIDA ID and CBP clearance
Valid state-issued driver’s license
Successful completion of Move Team training, as well as airport Movement Area Operations (MOA) qualification within 6 months of hire
strong knowledge of airport operations functions
Microsoft Office suite of products
Demonstrated leadership ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, operational environment
Proactive leadership, with desire to solve problems and drive performance
Effective organizational, presentation, analytical, and planning skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely to a varying audience in an operational setting
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
Reliable, punctual attendance is a crucial function of the position.
What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):
Associate or bachelor’s degree in related field
5+ years’ experience in airline or airport operations
2+ years’ experience in Move Team or Ramp operations
Experience leading leaders
Move Team or ramp operations
CBA, grievance, investigation, and disciplinary processes.
