About the role This Senior Data Scientist supports our internal and external strategic clients as a thought leader and producer in research, analytic design and data science principles. This individual serves as a lead in creating various analyses and models to develop viable, real-world solutions in a complex healthcare landscape and to provide relevant and actionable insights for internal and external customers on trends and patterns found within the data. What you'll do Design and develop machine learning and deep learning solutions and systems Understanding of third party LLMs and understanding of tasks associated with deployment, monitoring and maintenance of model architecture Run, train and deploy machine learning tests and algorithms and models Design solutions that solve business needs and that conform to current standards and reference architectures Stay current in AI/ML and adjacent technology best practices and serve as mentor/evangelist Act as a senior technical SME for the business and serve as a catalyst for innovation Provide relevant assessments for internal/external stakeholders to anticipate needs and design appropriate solutions aligning with the priorities of the enterprise Provide expertise and consultative support to internal and external stakeholders Interpret myriad data points and healthcare/ clinical effectiveness metrics, identify insights gaps and generate solutions Lead several projects and manage deliverables by contributing to data report creation, algorithm development, statistical modeling, and financial reporting All other duties as assigned. What you'll bring Advanced degree in quantitative, healthcare, analytics, statistics, finance or related field; or combination of education and equivalent experience 5+ years of AI/ML experience, with preference given to healthcare or customer operations experience 5+ years of advanced health care data analytics & statistical modeling experience 3+ years experience developing and deploying models in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) Ability to understand and manipulate data into usable, actionable information with high degree of accuracy and attention to detail Expertise in data management Experience with business intelligence exploratory or visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik, Power BI) is preferred Expertise with advanced analytics tools, (Python or R) Strong written and oral communication skills Protect and take care of our company and member's data every day by committing to work within our company ethics and policies Strong administrative/technical skills; Comfort working on a PC using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), IM/video conferencing (Teams & Zoom), and telephones efficiently.
