The Service Team Leader role would encompass both a hands-on technical service, fault-finding and instrument repair requirement alongside project / contract management which would include being the incumbent on site safety representative for Hach coupled with day-to-day leadership of a small onsite team. Candidates should be based in Dublin with the ability to travel to their place of work in under 1 hour.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Focus onsupervisory andcontract managementactivitiesto ensure deliverables are met, health and safety requirements are satisfied, and the incumbent site workforce are supported and efficient in their daily routines.

  • Gather, controlandpresent contract performance datatogenerate weekly / monthly reports alongsideregularmeetingattendance’swith our customer to deliverupdatesand be accountable for defined KPI targets.

  • Have the ability and agility toapply yourtechnicalbackground to support the team in fault diagnosis and repair.

  • Be able towork closelywithanddirectlysupportthe regional Ireland managertoenablethecontinuedcustomer satisfactionandoverallperformance of the Ireland service business.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Qualified to a higher education level (degree or higher diploma) in an appropriatequalification, with a proven experienceas a team supervisor/ leader (3 years) - prior experience of health and safety in the workplaceis advantageous

  • Strongadministration abilities, excellent communication and customer liaison skills, including negotiation and the ability to resolve conflict.

  • A full clean driving licenseshould beheld as there is an element of travel involved in the role.
