Amazon Senior Program Manager, A to Z Experiences in Dublin, Ireland

Description

Are you a passionate, self-starting Program Manager interested in building products to connect Amazonians with the information, resources, and insights they need through best-in-class intranet solutions? We are looking for a Program Manager that is customer obsessed, has a bias for action, and wants to learn and be curious. You will join the A to Z Experiences team supporting our product team in managing highly successful launches and ongoing operation of new intranet mobile and web applications for Amazonians.

Key job responsibilities

  • Day-to-day product operations support, ensuring timely responses to issues raised by the customers of our products across Amazon

  • Developing and implementing plans to ensure our end users adapt successfully to the changes arising from our new product launches

  • Managing multiple (cross-functional or technical and non-technical) stakeholder groups each week.

  • Building weekly detailed reports around support ticket volumes, project progress, feedback, survey results, and metrics.

  • Ability to take action and ownership of situations with minimal guidance.

  • Managing multiple project/programs simultaneously.

  • Recruiting and managing beta test users

  • Supporting Product Managers in the authoring and execution of User Acceptance Tests

  • Attending weekly business reviews to review programs assigned with leadership.

About the team

As part of People eXperience Technology (PXT), we deliver products that are used by all Amazonians in their daily roles in Amazon. Within PXT, the A to Z Experiences team owns Amazon A to Z, Amazon’s flagship employee intranet application. A to Z provides Amazonians with access to tools and resources related to their employment, their workplace, their careers, and that of their teams (if they are a manager). A to Z is available to users before, during, and after their time at Amazon as both a web application and a mobile application. It supports our corporate employees, our associates in our Fulfilment Centres, and our alumni.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in program or project management

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

  • Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, IT or equivalent

  • Master's degree in management, business administration, economics, engineering, marketing
