Better requiresprocess, discipline, and simplification

We’ll look to you to work actively with best-of-the-breed on global regulatory governance, risk, and compliance in respect of the Information Security Program. You will be a point of contact for audit and exam activities relative to IT and Information Security. Your duties will include recognizing and aligning with global cybersecurity laws and regulations, providing interpretation and guidance, identifying gaps, risks, track and drive remediation. You will identify and communicate the impact of proposed new cybersecurity laws and regulations on Western Union to ensure compliance readiness.

You will answer inquiries and questionnaires regarding the Western Union Information Security Program from regulators and stakeholders while providing evidence to support exams and regulatory inspections. You will work with a team of IT Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) professionals. Ideally, we need you to have a third level degree in information security and be familiar with information security or information security governance, compliance and risk management. You will have experience working in a regulated environment, with a broad-based IT background and the aptitude to quickly recognize issues related to access control, authorization, encryption, business continuity, disaster recovery, networking, as well as information security. A relevant professional certification(s) such as CISM, CRISC, CISA, and awareness of international cybersecurity regulations including PSD2, GDPR, EBA Guidelines, and others will be a distinct advantage.
