About the Role:

The Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities intended to deliver enhanced financial and operational performance, as well as delivering analytics, data solutions and data strategy plans. The successful candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with various business and data analytics teams, have proven data engineering and data analysis experience, and the ability to manage multiple competing projects at one time.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, manage multiple priorities and deadlines, be detail-oriented and work independently as well as in groups.

· Responsible for detailed and continuous data analysis, identifying problems and opportunities, and recommend solutions for building data products.

· Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, such as:  

o Data encryption  

o Data de-identification to ensure data security. 

o Role-based data access 

o Automating manual processes,  

o Optimizing data delivery,  

o Tuning and optimizing data processes for greater scalability, etc.

· Participate in the development of the team’s business strategy and the technical project delivery / roadmap.

· Partner with stakeholders to understand data requirements and business needs and develop dashboards and data visualizations.

· Translate highly complex data problems and observations in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences.

· Present analysis clearly and consistently using various BI tools.

· Evaluate gaps in processes and opportunities for automation.

· Stay current on available software and analytical environments and influence senior leadership to adopt new ideas, products, and/or approaches.

Required Qualifications:

· Degree Qualified (BA, BS) in relevant field (analytics, mathematics, economics, business, statistics, engineering, or finance) or equivalent experience.

· Data warehousing principles, architecture, and its implementation in Cloud and OnPrem environments

· Clear understanding and hands on experience with cloud technologies and large data sets

· Proficiency in SQL and Experience with object-oriented / object functional scripting language: Python, Scala, Java, etc.

· Experience in visualization tools such Python Dash, Tableau, R-shiny, PowerBI.

· Proven hands-on experience of developing big data processes using big data tools – Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, etc.  

· Hands on experience in writing complex SQL queries.

· Experience in Snowflake.

· Experience working within technical and business professionals in a matrix management environment.

· Strong communication skills, able to work with stakeholders from multiple levels and disciplines. 

· Demonstrated effective project ownership, management, drive & delivery.

· Excellent analytical reporting skills

· Experience working as part of an agile delivery model.

· Adaptable and keen to learn new technology/ programming language. 

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience or knowledge of cloud-based data analytics e.g. (AWS, Azure, Snowflake)

· Masters and/or PhD in Finance, Analytics, Economics, Mathematics, Econometrics, or other relevant field of study

· Experience in medical claims data including hospital, ancillary, and physician

· Experience in tools such as Databricks, Airflow, GitHub actions, Azure cloud environment. (Data factory, Key-vault etc.)

· Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a dynamic business environment

· Experience in prioritizing work on multiple complex assignments with ongoing deadlines
