HRIS Administrator

The Colas Group operates internationally in all aspects of transport infrastructure. As part of the global organisation, Colas Ireland is primarily involved the distribution of bitumen products, emulsion and emulsifier manufacturing, and the provision of specialist road maintenance services on the national, regional and local road network. In Ireland Colas operates from 14 locations across the island of Ireland.

Main Responsibilities

System Administration:

  • Administer and maintain HRIS platforms, ensuring data accuracy, system integrity, and compliance with data protection regulations.

  • Update the HR system with leavers and joiners.

    Reporting and Analysis:
  • Generate and analyse HR reports, providing insights to HR and management for strategic decision-making.

  • Oversee holiday balance reporting for the group and liaise with Line Managers / employees on requests re holiday balances.

    Support and deliver HR administration throughout the employee life cycle including but not limited to :
  • Contracts of employment.

  • Contract modification letters.

  • Administration of probation passed/extended letters.

  • Maintaining complete personnel files/records.

  • Booking pre-employment and referral medicals for employees across the group.

Profile

  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role

  • Level 7/8 degree or diploma qualification in Human Resources or Business Information Systems

  • Excellent administration and organisation skills.

  • A good understanding of the Human Resource function.

  • Knowledge of business concepts, procedures & practices.

  • Training will be provided on our HRIS systems Colas Way and Softworks.

  • Proficiency in the use of computer systems, particularly MS Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, advanced Excel including charts, vlookups, pivot tables and more advanced formulas for manipulating data. Power BI would also be an advantage.

  • Fluent English

  • Ability to multitask with excellent attention to detail.

  • Full driving licence would be an advantage.
