About the role

In this position, you'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to promote adoption, mitigate resistance, and optimize the benefits derived from the Voyager SAP S/4HANA program within the Global Supply & Procurement organization.

Your role will involve facilitating and driving engagement within this team, ensuring that prioritizing change and deployment initiatives within this transformation program is done with exceptional communication, facilitation, and use of interpersonal skills. Effective engagement and influence with stakeholders at all levels of the organization will be key elements of your collaborative approach.

A primary focus of this position is to inspire and mobilize the global change and deployment network to translate global change impacts into localized Change Impact Mitigation activities, facilitating a successful transition to new operational methods. Flexibility across cultural nuances will be essential in this role.

You will receive support in this role from both the Global Change Management Team and IBM's change management team. This support will be facilitated through collaboration with relevant D&T and Business Deployment leads, functional workstream leads, the Global Change Team (encompassing Change Management, Communications & Stakeholder Engagement, and Learning & Adoption), and the Business Change Network. You'll also work closely with the Programme Leadership team and business stakeholders to ensure effective execution of change initiatives.

The ideal candidate for this role must have a deep understanding of ‘Diageo’ and its nuances and be able to finesse the processes to achieve defined outcomes. They will be tasked with outlining and shaping a transformational approach within the Global Supply Chain & Procurement network, collaborating with Regional & Central Function Change counterparts, and working towards aligning processes to a defined global standard. Additionally, this individual will oversee change management aspects within the Global SC&P sphere, ensuring effective management of impacted stakeholders and end-users.

Responsibilities will include executing a standardized global change communication program, crafting key change messaging, and assessing adoption rates resulting from the overall change initiative. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities concurrently will be particularly vital for success in this role.

What you’ll bring

  • Proficient in verbal, written, and presentation communication, with the capacity to articulate business impacts to diverse audience groups, facilitating alignment on change impact mitigation strategies.

  • Skilled in leading employees through organizational transitions, proficient at delegating roles to appropriate individuals, and motivating them to fulfill their responsibilities in change and adoption initiatives.

  • Possesses a clear vision for organizational change, guiding the direction and objectives of the transformational journey.

  • Demonstrates strong project management skills to assess change progress and ensure its alignment with objectives. Adaptable to shifting priorities and capable of delivering high-quality communications within tight deadlines.

  • Proficient in using a variety of tools to develop plans and communications content (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Yammer, Teams, etc.).

  • Can lead a substantial team of Change & Deployment leads spanning your network, encompassing diverse functions within Supply and across multiple categories in GBS.

  • Demonstrate a track record of successfully leading change management initiatives within extensive transformation.

  • Formulate and implement a thorough change management strategy in line with the goals of the Voyager program. This involves identifying crucial stakeholders, evaluating readiness for change, and crafting customized strategies to ensure seamless transitions.

  • Taking charge of stakeholder assessments and governance across all organizational levels.

  • Collaborating with the SC&P Change Impact Facilitator and Communications lead to spearhead and facilitate a comprehensive communications strategy on a global scale.

  • Establish connections with critical stakeholders across all organizational tiers to enhance understanding, obtain support, and ensure their dedication to the change process. Cultivate a collaborative atmosphere and foster open communication. Additionally, strengthen relationships with Global Process Owners (GPOs) across Supply Chain and Procurement (SC&P) to reinforce compliance and integration among end-user groups.

  • Ability to directly manage the Regional Training Lead for the SC&P team, who will head the development and execution of training plans and curriculums. This role will collaborate closely with global change impact mitigation efforts, ensuring alignment with training initiatives. Provides supervision over the design and facilitation of training programs aimed at equipping employees with the necessary knowledge and skills to capably utilize the system.

  • Collaborate with The Business & D&T Deployment leads to establish metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) for evaluating the effectiveness of change management activities and monitoring progress toward desired outcomes.
