The Role: Business Controller
As a Business Controller, you will play a pivotal role in our financial operations, working closely with executive leaders and business unit heads. This is a high-visibility position where your insights and decisions will directly impact the company's financial health and strategic direction.

Who We're Looking For:

Analytical Mind: You have a strong aptitude for working with big data and using software tools to analyse and summarize complex problems.
Professional Communicator: You can effectively communicate with senior leaders and build rapport across various levels of the organization.
Tech-Savvy: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable learning and using enterprise financial and P2P software tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Routinely review financial performance and work with executive leaders to ensure on-target budgets.
Track and monitor KPIs, implementing corrective action plans as needed.
Prepare and coordinate annual Financial and Operational Budgets, ensuring compliance and addressing deviations.
Lead profitability improvement projects and provide financial input for capital expenditure projects.
Liaise with key Ireland leaders and Shared Services to maximize their value and effectiveness.
Skills/Qualifications:
Qualifications:
Preferred degree in business, finance, accounting, or equivalent coursework and experience.
Skills:
Energetic self-starter eager to grow in a global scientific organization.
Strong aptitude for working with big data and using software tools to analyse and summarize complex problems.
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite required. A case study/exam using Microsoft Excel will be part of the interview process.
Experience with enterprise financial and P2P software tools preferred.
Mature “executive presence” to build rapport with tenured P&L leaders.
Location and Hours:
Location: Either remote or on-site (Dublin, Cork, Dungarvan).
Training Location: Expect to be on-site for a 4-6 week training period.
Hours: Full-time position with flexibility to manage workload independently.
