POSITION SUMMARY
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for maintenance/technical attention within the RPM – technician program to quest rooms and public areas.
Completes the RPM – technician maintenance tasks to the allotted daily quota of guest rooms and the weekly schedule of public areas.
Keeps RPM – technician trolley clean, tidy and properly stocked.
Initiates orders for supplies for trolley
Maintains records of work completed.Cooperates with and assists other tradesmen as directed.
Advises Duty Engineer/ACE concerning major repair/changes required.
Learns firefighting and safety precautions and how to operate the firefighting equipment.
Works in a safe manner concerning guests, employees, self and equipment as well as property.
Ensures that work area is left in safe condition and the proper use and security of RPM – technician equipment and trolley.
Responsible for the maintenance of all equipment within the department.
Is aware of and implement all relevant aspects of Health and Safety-legislation and company procedures relating thereto.
Attends any internal and external course that management may deem as beneficial for his/her job.
Carries out any reasonable request made by the management in the undertaking of any duties within the Hotel.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
License or Certification: None
